“Borderline” is the debut solo release from RHF member, Animos and it contains by far his most personal material to date.
Each track gives the listener an up close and personal encounter as Animos addresses his struggles with mental illness, self-harm, suicide attempts, failed relationships, substance abuse and whatever else is on his mind.
The lyrical content delivered on Borderline may come as a shock to those familiar with RHF, as Animos bares his soul in all its naked ugliness.
Although we see flashes of humour, Animos rarely strays from the script as he paints a chaotic picture of a man seemingly tormented by his own existence.
Essentially a mixtape, Borderline contains two songs produced by Impromptu from RHF, who also features on both tracks.
